As you all know, Anime Detour is fast approaching and we’re all starting the mad rush to get costumes done and such! Well, due to monetary constraints, I won’t be bringing any new cosplays to Detour. So I find myself with some spare time around my classes. I know we’re all excited to meet each other and I thought that a way to make this second meeting of Detourstuck super special was to give out scalemates! Due to the sheer freaking size of our group, I cannot logistically make 80+ scalemates and still go to class, eat, sleep, etc and have important things like money. But I can do a giveaway! Okay! Let’s see what you’ll be getting! This is the scalemate type I am offering. (The yellow one.) They stand at 5”-5 1/2” tall, are made out of Red Heart yarn, and stuffed with polyfiber fill. The eyes are plastic buttons. So. What does that mean for all of you Detourstuckers? I’ve decided to do this giveaway thing in the form of a scalemate sign-up! All you have to do is: Reblog this post or send a message to me via askbox or fanmail. How I’m going to do signups is go first by the order I receive notes on this post. This means if you want to be one of the first people to sign up, reblog. Then I’m going to go to signups in my messages. If I get enough people interested, the list of sign-ups will be then be divided into groups of five. I will be doing scalemates one group at a time. So if I make it to your group, you are guaranteed a scalemate. I cannot guarantee that everyone who signs up will receive a scalemate. I really wish I could, but it would just be nearly impossible if a bunch of people sign up. I’ll start making scalemates as soon as people start signing up, so hopefully everyone can get a little scalemate friend! I will be posting regularly which groups I have gotten done.
